Shoe Bonanza

I finally feel like enough time and entries have passed since Laura's shoe bonanza that I may once again post about footwear. For my euro-trip '07, I have opted to go with the Gisele shoe by Vans. This isn't really surprising because oddly enough, I realized that every pair of "running" shoes I've had since grade 9 have been Vans. I guess I want to keep some part of my ska-loving youth with me always. But I think these are pretty perfect for the trip. Cute, comfortable, and they will go with most of the skirts and dresses that I am bringing.

As for those days on the beach, and the days when there won't be a ton of walking involved, I opted to go for these Hybrid Braided Sandals from Urban Outfitters. I know that I swore off the toe thong thing, but do you know how hard it is to find gladiator type sandals in this city without the toe thong? I'm hoping to have better luck in London and Paris. I better pack light.
