PSA: Workplace Safety & Insurance Board
The WSIB of Ontario has put out a new set of PSA's that are totally disturbing, and kind of totally awesome. In a weird and gruesome way, they make me proud to be a Canadian.
Check out The Chef, Family Man, Retail, and Factory, but be warned that they can get a little graphic.

Good Lord. I'm glad that someone else has been thinking about this too. I was watching Simpsons with my little brother on sunday when BAM out of nowhere one of these commercials comes on..this lady gets BURNED in the kitchen..and they showed the graphic burns and everything.

first those "you fucking bitch" domestic abuse PSAs and now these? canada is a great, great land.

I've never seen that domestic abuse one. It was amazing.
These are SWEET ads. They were done by Toronto agency Draft/FCB. A friend of mine worked for Fuel, which is a subsidiary of FCB and the WSIB account used to be theirs until it was passed onto the big guys. I came across it in the Applied Arts advertising annual today too. Gooood times.
