I love the tones and moodiness encapsulated in all of the pieces from iheartanna.

Pretty Pretty Prints

Mike and I are currently in the process of re-decorating our bedroom. Or, decorating it for the first time, really, as it hasn't been touched at all since moving in more than three years ago. But we just got a steal of a deal on a new (to us) bedroom set, and we need some new artwork to spruce up the walls. I've rounded up some of the artists on Etsy that we are considering adorning the room with.

Clockwise from left to right: Monsieur IV print by Cosas Minimas, Portrait of a Badger by Amy Blackwell, Springtime Limited Edition Print by Jaimers, HELLO June by Ashley G and Drew, Pile o Wood by Geninne's Art Store, Tunisian Marketplace by Dkim Art.

I'm Ghosting Your Dreams

When my computer crashed a couple months ago, and then all my CD's were stolen out of my car a couple weeks later, I literally lost ALL of my music. I've been slowly getting it back, and rediscovering some stuff I forgot about along the way. When I remembered last night that I needed to get the newest Mother Mother release, I was hella excited to give it a listen again. It's good. Really good.

Why Didn't I Think Of This?

I quite enjoy the porcelain creations (cast from moulds of disposal tin food containers) by Lorena Barrezueta.

SO much.

The fact that you can preview each delectable dish in the Styles section is something I especially like.

I'm almost ready to break every dish in my kitchen by "accident", so I have a reason to buy the entire collection.

A Schooner IS a Sailboat, Stupidhead!

I almost chickened out from posting these skirts because I love them all so much. Lucky for you, I am beyond broke and realistically cannot purchase them anytime in the near future. You'll have to give me a second though; saying goodbye to that sailboat one is going to be difficult.

From left to right: Vintage Sailboat Skirt from Miss Cedar's Closet, Swan Applique Vintage Bright Kelly Green 1970's Wrap Skirt from Mid West Vintage, See the Seagulls Bird Print Skirt from Mimi's Gamines.

Obvious Isn't It?

Do you have any idea how much I would fall in love with the guy who was wearing this amazing Grow to Love Cardigan from Hide and Seek Clothing? The answer is SO FREAKING MUCH.

Abundant Arboreal Lucious Flower Heads

While I am not a huge fan of broccoli the vegetable, I am a huge fan of broccoli cast in silver to become beautiful and unique pieces of jewelry. I think this is the only time broccoli has made me drool.

It's a Surprise

Hey Hollie, guess what I am getting Mike for his birthday? Speaking of which, when is his birthday?

Please Hollie?

I am constantly running out of my places to keep my jewelry. Even with my massive jewelry box, and the old pants hanger on my wall, and the boxes and boxes on my dresser, I still need more space to put things. That's half of the reason I absolutely love these Battenberg Organizers from Coquelicot. Not only do I want a bunch of them for my room, but I'm going to start campaigning for Hollie and I to get them at the store too.

I love love love the delicate nature of the clay jewelry found at vanilla bug. Total sweetness.

Colours In Bloom

It's officially time to put away your black/brown/tan bags and go for something a little more colourful! To celebrate that spring is finally here, I rounded up some of my favourite spring bags on Etsy.

From top: Mustard Deer Shoulder Bag from helisengezer, Ruby Bag in Dusty Pink from morelle, Spring Bing Cherry Bag from sketchbook.

Luxury

I cleaned out my closet the other day and I have waaaayyyy too many scarves. Now I know we're in a recession and everything, and I definitely don't need any more scarves whatsoever for the next 20 years, but oh my would I ever love to get a bunch of new ones for summer by Obey at 80's purple.

This Tornado Loves You

I haven't even gotten over my love affair with Neko Case's last album Fox Confessor Brings the Flood, and already she's come out with another fantastic album, Middle Cyclone. This really feels like it could be an everlasting love.

Perfect for the Hard to Buy For Blogger

Continuing on my summer dress obsession, I am currently in the midst of drooling over this Printed Cowl Neck Dress in Purple at Revolve Clothing. Did I mention it is my birthday on Friday?

Ok, I Think It's Time

... Time for us to enrich our life with some children so we can buy them the most beautiful baby toys and decorations EVER at petit flaneur, which, incidentally can be found at the spring One of A Kind Show.

Down By The Bay

I am in love with Bruce Mozert's underwater photography. He pioneered the art in the 1930's in Silver Springs, Florida and helped to establish the area as a tourist attraction because of the crystal clear waters. His shots are kitschy, whimsical, and totally surreal.

For Above My Bed

I need the Wood Animal Plaques from The Curiosity Shoppe and I NEED THEM NOW.

Love Writes A Letter

Oh Curiosity Shoppe, sometimes you are just so amazing that my heart flutters a little, and I wonder if that's natural or if I'm experiencing some sort of early onset heart condition. That's what happened with these Stitchable Map Postcards at least.

Gentleman Caller

I've been a long-time fan of the prints at Esta sketch, so when she came out of a line of notebooks made from recycled prints, I just about died. We ordered some for the store, and I can't believe that they are considered to be "flawed" (being made from prints that came out smudged, overinked, etc) because I really haven't seen anything more lovely in a while.
