Information Superhighway

Jane and I really like the World Wide Web. Our favourite part about it would probably be all the websites. That's why we like to have so many of our own. We're adding another one to our roster, so be sure to check out Ainslie Wood Co. tomorrow morning for some incredible vintage finds. We're really excited about it.

Pale and Pretty

Topshop is blowing my mind with their selection of pale pink dresses and super feminine clothes. I didn't even realize I liked pink until I noticed some drops of drool on my keyboard.

Whats The Haps

When Alphabeat released their debut album last year, it was pretty much the pump up album of the year for both Hollie and I. I'm expecting their followup, What Is Happening, to do pretty much the same thing.

Tres Dangereux

Oh man, Rifle Paper Co. has opened. This could be a very dangerous thing for me.

Case of the Mondays

Last week I dreamt that I had a pair of the Melissa Riding Boots from Frye. I literally dream about these boots. It was an amazing dream. When I woke up and faced the reality that I don't actually own them, I contemplated calling in sick to work because I was so distraught.

Arc de Triomphe

Some of my favorite vintage holiday dresses are over at Dear Golden Vintage. You better buy these Internet, before I go into any more credit card debt.

Simple and True

Gap knit tights: so comfy and warm, it's no wonder they're the only thing on Hollie's Christmas list.

With All The Trimmings

Tonight is tree-decorating night! It may seem a little early, but it's less than a month until Christmas! And I have a tree! So why not? Especially when there are lovely vintage ornaments like these to hang.

Redundancy

Sometimes I feel like I go to the same shops over and over again, but it's so so hard to post things from ModCloth every single day when they keep getting amazing things in. Like these curtains.

Scout's Honour

Hollie and I owe our darling friend Heather a big shout out, both for filling in at the shop for us yesterday, and also for finding us these beautiful Multi-Color Flag Necklaces that have now been added to both our Chrismas lists.

Crushing

Let me just say it: I think this Paul & Joe Ruffled Sleeved Dress is just about the most perfect dress around. It's also on super sale... which although super, is still too rich for my blood.

Geometry Art

Jane, is there any reason that we don't have the embroidered necklaces from Maranon in the shop? If there is, it better be a REALLY good one.

Lady Lovelylocks

So many lovely Liberty of London prints are used in Nadinoo's Fall/Winter '09 collection. THAT IS A VERY GOOD THING.

Hello

Moss? Milkglass? You had me at hello, Flores Del Sol.

Oh Oh It's Magic

Hand bound with a vintage fabric cover. Embroidered. Textured paper. It sounds to me like this notebook from Dawn Tan at Bakers Dozen would be the most perfect diary ever.

Sink That Carbon

My friend Paul alerted me of the existence of the propaganda posters from The Victory Garden of Tomorrow. I'm kind of tempted to buy a whole bunch and start a guerrilla postering campaign downtown.

All Systems Go

For a minute, let's just talk about how great these Pocket Carnival pouches are! Adorable little animal children? Check! Super cute colors and detail? Check! Perfect stocking stuffer for Jane? Check!

Hurrah!

Somehow this totally escaped my attention until this weekend, but holy crap - Monsters of Folk! Featuring Connor Oberst! And Folk! I'm in love.

Honesty

Oh hey, Internet! Have you seen the all the new shoes I'm going to buy from Seychelles? Well, I'm not going to buy them really, but I'm probably going to at least dream about them all night long.
