I gave my cats a bath this weekend.
I was worried they might have fleas, which I really really hate, so they got a bath, flea collars and flea medicine. Basically the works.
They weren't too happy about the baths, and even less happy when I blow-dryed their fur, but I think they enjoyed the end result.
That's Atticus, he's a giant ham.
Boo is a little more modest. Both of them are total showoffs though.

ReplyDeleteMy old cat, Sox, had to have regular baths and she hated it so much she's pee her pants in the sink. And howl the whole time, it was awful.
Ohhh that is so sad!
ReplyDeleteAtticus was pretty good with the bath... but he's the calmest cat in the world. Boo kept hopping on his hind legs like a kangaroo to get out, which was the funniest and saddest thing of all time.
They're adorable! I have to say, if I tried to give my Jack cat a bath... well, it wouldn't be pretty. If I'm holding him and we get too close to the pool or a sink full of water he is wrapping his paws around my neck and instantly attached to me. lol. Poor little guy.

ReplyDeleteI've had cats my whole life and they are by far the most chill cats I've ever had. I don't think either of them even realize they have the ability to scratch... it's just never occured to them!

My cat is like three times the size of yours haha, do you use anything on them when you give them a bath like special cat shampoo?! lol I wanna try that with my big guy Jake

Those are such cute kitty pictures! I adore the colour of Boo. Orange cats are definitely my favourite. I have yet to attempt to bathe my cats. They are way too squirmy.
