A Canadian Tradition
On Saturday morning I drove down to Montreal with some friends to spend the weekend. I took lots of pictures, but due to a late departure, and some pretty awful driving conditions, we didn’t get home until late last night. I’m a little sleepy this morning, and I think I might also need to go into some sort of detox after the obscene amounts of delicious food and candy we ate this weekend. Case in point: maple syrup!
We were cold and wandering around downtown Montreal at this point. It had been at least 30 minutes since we feasted on a gigantic breakfast, so of course we had to stop when we saw a maple syrup shack.
I was a slow syrup roller because I kept stopping to take pictures.

That is pure sugary goo right there, and it was delicious.
Happy customers!

ReplyDeleteOHHH MAMA! Ontario maple syrup farms are something I HAVE to get under my belt before I leave here! But from experience thus far, Quebec has the best :) Great weekend!
