So Many Weeds

We took advantage of the warm weather on the weekend and started to tackle Doug's garden. The previous owners of the house let everything grow over with weeds, and after living there a year with zero garden upkeep, it was about time. There was a lot to contend with.

Pepper was really the star of the show, chillin' on the grass attached to a little kitty leash I purchased years ago from Dollarama.  She was pretty content to lounge around, occasionally sniffing the plants we purchased, and gnawing on the roots we pulled out of the earth, thinking it was a new stick.

There's so much to be done still, but by the end of Monday we had managed to dig up about 12 feet of garden, and even started planning a couple things.  I'm so excited about this summer project.
