Pass The Bisquick Biscuits

There's nothing like starting the New Year with memories of old times... And what better way to remember how disturbing the 1950s were than by reviewing advertisements from the decade?

What I enjoy most about Plan 59 is the sincere joy I receive from simultanously "loving" and hating the North American social dynamics of the 1950s - and how it's manifested through media of the day.
Hilarious.

Take A Look Around

PAID ADVERTISEMENT

There is no rule that says looking like a million bucks needs to cost a million bucks. In the retail market today, there are an incredible amount of deals available for diamond jewelry such as necklaces and pendants. As we see with stars who wear these extravagant necklaces and pendants, the jewelry trends usually remain similar throughout the years. Diamonds are always the hottest gem as more and more recent stars and celebrities have embraced the diamond as generations past. There are many ways to have the look of a celebrity without spending the money that they have spent on their jewelry.

The options for the man or woman who sees something extraordinary worn by a celebrity are endless. There are jewelry sites who sell necklaces and pendants that can be had for a fraction of the price that celebrities tend to pay by using lower cost materials, while maintaining quality. These pieces look great and are affordable to many. There are also many web sites who sell diamond jewelry at low cost due to varying factors as they are aware that not everyone has “celebrity” money. The key is to research as much as possible knowing the latest trends will cost the most, but there are deals to be had, just take a look around.
