Run Rabbit Run
I don't think it's humanly possible for me to love anything more than Elizabeth Soule's Little Zoo series of polaroid photography right now.

It says that the 12 letterpress card set from Serrote can be used as announcement-cards,
post-cards, invitatiom-cards, visiting-cards, greeting-cards, or trading-cards, which works out perfectly me seeing that I could use any number of these options.

Just when I thought my love for cute stationary was filled to the brim, along came Jack Cards, the most thoughtful online card-ordering service ever.
You go online, peruse the selection and pick your faves, make a calendar of your life full of special events, and they send the card to you within a week of your special day so you can write your own greeting and send it! This is one of those ideas in life that I wish I had thought of first... Someone go order me the vespa (for June 27th)!

Sure, you COULD use plain boring old post-it notes, but wouldn't it be SO much more fun to use this gorgeous sticky note set from Good on Paper? And at $8.00 for a set of 4 pads, they are totally affordable and completley cute.
Ahem. This has just been added to my birthday wish list. Please shower me with gift accordingly.

I was looking all day for something red or pink to post in honour of Valentine's Day, and couldn't find anything I liked. That is, until I came across the Red Dot Campaign, and it seems just perfect. The Earth is one of my great loves, and this will be my Valentine's Day gift to it.

Did you guys know that Jane has a collection of pelicans? It's a little weird, but I am also jealous of how wicked all the pelican imagery looks in her living room. That's why I immediately thought of you, Jane, when I came across these Pelican Sticker Stamp Set from Three Potato Four. I think I like your collection more than you do.

It may have already been noted that I have a slight obsession with blank journals/notebooks. Which would be alright, if I actually used the many that I actually own for writing or drawing. So while I'm totally coveting this Portrait Landscape Sketchbook, I know I should go against my desire to snatch it up, and leave one of the limited edition of 500 to someone who will actually use it.
Lydia, I'm looking at you.

I think this may be the classiest Post-It Pad there ever was. I am drooling over the versatility of sizing, and the fact that it's not bright canary yellow. When I become the CEO of some big-shot company, I will ensure classy post-it pads for all!

AK, I know that if you ever in the near future bring a little bundle of joy into the world, some things about you may change. You may become more selfless, as all parents do. You may become less sketical about life. You may prefer lullabies to funky breakbeats.
One thing I know that won't change about you is your love of Russian styled design. And so, when you have this hypothetical child, I will most certainly get you this Rochenky Baby Card from CUT + PASTE to celebrate your new arrival.

Charley Harper + his bird illustrations + notecards = just about the best thing ever.
At least for me, anyway.

Don't tell anyone, but I am totally sending these Barack Obama Valentines out for Valentine's Day.
And, for all the non-politically minded people on my list, they'll get these lovely Love Is For Suckers Valentines.

Do you know how many times I have gone back to these Vintage Paper Love Birds in the last two weeks? Too many times to remember. I can't get them out of my mind, they are just way too cute.
I don't know what else I need to say about them as this point. You can see the picture, you can see the cuteness. They are all one of a kind, and beautiful, and made of recycled paper and fabric which makes them not only adorable, but a good green gift as well. Is it too early to start making a birthday wish list?

Do you know what I love? Valentine's Day. All those people who go on and on about it being a commercialized holiday made up by corporate fat cats can bite me, Valentine's Day has a long and glorious tradition.
So glorious in fact, that White Elephant Vintage is selling really old, really beautiful, vintage valentines. Some of these babies are from 1919, and they are still as cute as ever.

Do you know what the most fun I've had all day has been? No, it hasn't been the shipping out of masses and masses of tapes. Close, though. It's been trying to figure out the riddles on today's date on the Cranium Page A Day Calendar that my co-worker has at her desk. She is going to regret ever showing it to me. I'll be there all day, every day.
Just so you can get an idea of what a good work procrastination tool it is, today's riddle is:
Name the following stores found at the mall:
1. Livestock Housing and Aristocrat
2. Corporeal Fabrication Area
I've got number one, but I'm terribly stuck on two. Any guesses?

Hey Jane, remember that time you made that impulsive purchase (one of many) on all those rolls of vintage fabric, and never really did anything with them?
Well, for only $3.99 more, you can take it all and turn it into a wonderful 2008 wall calender, thanks to Patricia Zapata and her downloadable template at A Little Hut. You've got everything you need - printer, paper, fabric. Heck, I'll even lend you the four bucks because I love this thing so damn much.

I'm a sucker for novelty tape. I'm a sucker for Christmas. I'm also a sucker for nicely wrapped gifts.
Well, gosh, Atypyk, you sure know the way to my heart, don't you?

Ok, so you know how every Christmas you find a giant supply of those hideous gift tags from the dollar store, and you slap one of those puppies on top of every gift you're giving out and fill in the little To: and From:???
They're ugly and no one likes them.
This year, spend an extra dollar or two, and buy a set of these absolutely gorgeous patterned gift tags from Elfrida. They are so beautiful, no one will even notice that you just gave them a box full of newspaper.

This Delicate Heart Paper Doll is far more gorgeous and intricate than any boring Barbie paper doll set I had as a kid.

Admit it: you feel a little fancy every time you drop a french word into a conversation. Even if it's only a "mais oui", you love it just the same.
OK, well I do at least. That's why I'm going to send out these Merci Hand Printed Note Cards from 315Thomas the next time I need to thank someone, anyone really, for anything.
They're pretty and stylish and make me feel *that* much more high society.

During my search for the perfect journal to knock one of my Christmas presents off my list, I came across this gorgeous Pinecone Poster from Lovely Design. So now I'm in a bit of a pickle. Do I continue my search? Or do I spend the money on this poster and myself instead?
Tough call.
