Why Do I Do This To Myself?

Alright, Payless.

I know I should not have walked in to "look around" today, so it is my own fault in the first place I suppose, but gosh-darn it - you know I have a weakness for cute canvas slip-ons with adorable details!

BONER

Why hello there, shoes of my dreams.

The Kailey Patent Pumps from Payless (alliteration!) are so absolutely beautiful that I think I might die any minute now. Ok, that might be extreme, but at the very least I am going to break out into unwanted sweats. These are so gorgeous. The color is drool-inducing and holy freaking hell they are only $17.99

Woe Is Me

So Laura, just so you don't forget our conversations from earlier - you know, the one where I told you about my cat destroying my favourite pair of shoes - I've decided to turn it into a post.

I know you'll be really busy with school and everything, but if you happen to make your way into Office and pick me up a pair of the Believe It Bow Shoes in Pewter (size 8 1/2) you'd really make my 2008. You know what? I've had a pretty rough go of it already, so you may as well pick me up a pair of the Barumba Lace Ups while you're there. It'd cheer me up a whole lot.

Good Luck Chuck

These are such pretty Chuck Taylor All Star Ditzy Florals, that I should get a pair and wear them every day when I play Rock Band.

And if I could, I'd buy a pair for my lead singer character. She would totally love these.

Ladies: Dorothy Had It Down

I remember the grey days... the days when hip gals and guys could only wear a limited colour palette on their feet: namely black, brown, white if you are freaky. Then my sister went out and bought patent leather red shoes. Say what!

I had a technocolour mind melt (just like my Lithuanian grandmother seeing Wizard of Oz for the first time). You mean I can look stylish and sophisticated with bright shoes?!

Of course, this was years back and the first (and last, bless) trend that my sister was miles ahead of any chic hipsteress in Brooklyn.

Now, red is my favourite shoe colour staple. And here are an excellent pair to demonstrate all that is sexy/quirky/kick ass about red feet.

Cold As Ice

O Winter! Why must you be so cruel? Why must you keep me from wearing beautiful flats, like these Brown Lacey Lace Flats due to the ground being covered in snow. You'll rue the day you kept me from cuteness, winter.

At least there's a bright side, The Fusion Boutique is offering Love It A Lot readers 10% off any purchase. Just use the code "LOVEIT" at the time of checkout.

UGH

Okay, I have a feeling that I am totally going to regret posting this, but I found a pair of UGG Boots that I don't totally hate. I think it's because they look more like a fighter pilot's bomber jacket rather than your grandmother's old ratty slippers.

I'm not sure if I love them a lot, being UGG's and all, but I certainly like them more than any other pair they make.

Shoe Therapy

Meet the newest addition to my shoe collection, the Fornarina Bea Boot. Mine are actually a delicious shade of chocolate brown and soooooo much nicer than they appear in this picture. I've been eyeing them for a couple of months now and finally, they're mine! I'm in love.

Hurry Down The Chimney With These

I really think that the Loucce Mary Janes from Steve Madden are the perfect little pair of holiday shoes. I'm just having a little trouble choosing between the deep red, or the navy, or the cream, or the brown. I think I'll just put them all down on my list, Santa, baby.

From The Files Of: Tee Hee

Pre-city life, I walked around barefoot everywhere. What a carefree child I was! Well, now that its a bit chilly/there maybe broken syphilis glass around, you can capture a similar spirit by customizing your sneakers!

The Whisper Trees Of Mary Jane

I apologize to all other contenders, but these are The Best Shoes Ever. And I completely forgot I had discovered The Best Shoes Ever last week... forgot, that is, till cleaning off my desktop this morning.

Shoes, again, so sorry. Maybe next year.

Spectator Sport

Man, oh man, I can not wait to get my hands on these Ash Travis Lace Up Pumps from shopbop. (Actually, I saw them at Urban Outfitters today for much cheaper!) That colour, those menswear details, that toe, that heel! I'm in heaven. Do you know how hard it's been for me to find spectator shoes in my neck of the woods?

Take my word for it. It hasn't been easy.

Three Is A Magic Number

Tomorrow is my birthday, and I know these Bonnie Tall Riding Boots from Frye may seem a little extravagant as a gift, sitting at a pretty $358, but I think I've worked out a reasonable logic.

$358 plus tax works out to be $408.12. Now, tomorrow I'll be turning 24, and what do you know, $408.12 divided by 24 is an equal 17. And 17 is the amount of kisses I will shower upon you if you buy me these boots for my birthday. Coincidentally, 17 is also the number of punches you'll receive if you don't buy me these boots for my birthday. This applies to any and all of you.

Don't Step On My Blue Suede... Whatever, You Know the Cliché.

We've already become acquainted with Hollie's Fall Boot from Payless.

Now, meet mine.

See, although it says that this beauty is on "sale" on the website, it actually would have cost me $64.99 + tax in the store (still not too painful of a price).

However, even with the BoGo madness going on right now, I'd still have to seriously consider this, since I currently own almost nothing stylish enough to wear with these glorious boots.

-sigh-

Time to buy a new wardrobe.

Sweet Kicks

I love how sporting a pair of vibrant vintage sneakers adds the perfect amount of colour to my fall wardrobe.

That is the reason why I love the pair of bright blue Onitsuka Tiger Mexico '66 trainers I picked up a few months ago.

But I would still much rather break the bank and buy these fetching new ZX 600 Jamaica runners from Adidas Originals.

Ire mon.

We Are The Champions

I'm back. With a vengeance.

And I think I need to rue my vengeance with these sweet-action Champion Revolution Sneaker sneakers from Payless.

Did that sentence even make sense? I'm not sure, but it sounded pretty kick-ass to me. Like these sneaks.

Punk.

Master Plan

So this is what I'm thinking: call Visa to up my credit limit by a couple of thousand, book a couple of days off work, hop in the car to drive to Pennsylvania and blow a ton on Anthropologie's new fall collection? Who's with me?

Check out the Geneseo Shirtdress, Dress Shirt Heels, and Buttons & Braids Bag, if you need some convincing.

Two words:

SUPER DROOL!

Blue Shoes

I have a little folder on my desk top entitled 'Candidates for Fall Boots' which provides excellent fodder for Loveitalot/keeping the Hollie threats at bay. I usually wear my shoes (literally) into the ground, so most shoes are stylish, classic yet perhaps a shade too boring for the likes of this page. So here is my most indulgent selection: boots that are not black!

My favourite part is the back (check out the Office site for a 360• view).
